Day 1 of Dynamics

Joined BTB Crossfit and before I can begin attending classes I must go through what they call Dynamics. A week long training on form of the different movements and routines. It lasts from 7:30 to 9pm. Usually with a bout 10-15 minutes of white board instruction and the rest of instruction then a routine.

They gave us a log book so we can enter our WOD (Workout of the day) to see how we have progressed

The class is small just 3 of us but it is fun and I am very excited and the instructor is Michael Shoenig.

Started with regular movements:

  • Air Squat
  • Push Up
  • Jumping and Strict Pull Ups
  • Front Squat
  • Overhead Squat
  • Knees to Elbows (KTE)

The warm up was THLBCTI (The Hot Lady Begins CrossFit Today Intently)

T – Toes
H – Heels
L – Lunges
B – Butt
C – Can Opener
T – Toy Soldier
I – Inch Worm

The WOD of the day was AMRAP (as many rounds as possible)

100 Meter run
150 H
10 Knee to elbows (stomach my case)

Did 3 rounds in 10 minutes

Exhausted
