Day 14 – The Ropes

Stacey was the trainer today and Betsy and I were the only 2 this afternoon.

Warm Up:

  • Skipped Rope (practiced double unders – not there yet)
  • Dynamic Stretches
  • 10 Knee to elbows
  • 10 Push Press with 35lb. (with a dip)
  • 10 Shoulder Press with 35lb.

W.O.D.: For Time

  • Dumbbell power snatch 30 left, 30 right – 35lb.
  • Rope-climb 5 ascents (only was able to do 2 – did 15 ring pulls)
  • Dumbbell power snatch 20 left, 20 right – 25lb.
  • Rope-climb 5 ascents (did 15 ring pulls)
  • Dumbbell power snatch 10 left, 10 right – 25lb.
  • Rope-climb 5 ascents (did 15 ring pulls)

Time: 16:11 not Rx

I was happy that I did 2 rope climbs with no problem. The trick is being able to use you feet as anchor to make the next climb up.

Should have worn pants…
