DES was the coach today

Warm up:

  • 500 m row – 1:42
  • Dynamic stretches

We did some interesting and cool things with a medicine ball

  • 10 Clean
  • 10 Thruster
  • 5 Wall throw catch each side
  • 5 Tosses

W.O.D.: 15 min AMRAP

  • 15 Chest to Bar Pull Ups
  • 30 Seconds of Plank Hold

No noodle back or piking in the plank hold. Use multiple attempts if needed to acheieve the 30 seconds.

Results: 6 round complete (chest 2 bar quickly became chin over bar)

After WOD we did a plank off

Time: 1:15 (really wasn’t trying)

Notes: ripped left hand near pinkie while doing kipping chest to bar. Was only able to physically touch my chest to the bar about a handful of times. Need to work on that because I noticed that is a popular movement in competition.
