Went to the 7am class because I didn’t want to run in the heat of the day.

Warm Up:

  • Skip Rope
  • Dynamic Stretches

W.O.D.:

Ten rounds, each for time of:

100 meter Sprint

Rest 90 seconds

 

If you don’t have a 100M stretch straight on, do a 50 up and back.

Results:

Notes: I was very happy with my sprints, especially the last one. I truly believe I could have done it in 15 seconds, unfortunately about the last 10-15 yards I felt my right hamstring twinge so I let up on the throttle quickly. I still made it in 18 seconds.

I love doing short sprints because I believe it helps the fast twitch muscles. Also the fact of a controlled 90 second rest then go must help.
