Wall balls and pull ups

Ryan B was the trainer today. Never had him before and always am interested in seeing how other people do their warm ups, coach, and motivate.

The Warm Up:

  • 400 Meter run
  • Dynamic Stretches
  • 2 Sets of
  • 5 Knees to elbows
  • 10 Burpees
  • 15 Squats
  • 30 Second Hand Stand Hold
The WOD: For Time

  • 50 Wall-ball shots
  • 50 Pull-ups
  • 35 Wall-ball shots
  • 35 Pull-ups
  • 20 Wall-ball shots
  • 20 Pull-ups
Results: 16:06
Notes: I felt very good with this. Pretty much treated it as a chipper. Had to take multiple rests with both wall balls and the pull ups. The good thing is I did not rip on the pull ups. I usually wear some straps but didn’t need them.
While going through this wod, I kept trying to push myself not to stop and take short rests before starting again. I know my endurance and stamina have gotten a lot better. The only thing I can do is keep telling my mind I can get through it.
