I was still on the road so I had to improvise.
Breakfast: Sausage and egg from McDonalds
Dinner: Vegetable plate from Farmer’s Basket – cabbage and green beans
The wrong time to start a challenge/diet but I made it. Came out to the Beau Rivage in Biloxi with the boys for some golf and gambling.
Since I had to order all my meals this is what I ate.
Breakfast – Cracker Barrel (Double Meat)
Fajitas: Chicken, Steak, and Shrimp
12oz Lobster and 8 oz Filet (I did not use the butter)
Gotta love the local carnicerias….
I went to Carniceria Hispana and it hit me! “These guys are butcher shops!”
All I need to do Paleo at home! I bought some pre cooked chicken and pork and warmed it at home. I was worried how I was I going to eat Paleo all the time reasonably priced and voila, found a solution.
So… I signed up for the BTB45 and decided to go to UrbanPl8 (a paleo friendly restaurant).
They are located off of Huff Road. It’s a really cool place. Sat at the bar and was amazed at all the paleo friendly dishes they serve. (menu)
I decided to go with the recommended Hanger Steak with grilled artichokes and Jalapeno Cole slaw.
I can’t wait to return so I can try the….
(no… not the krispie kreme doughnut – THE PALEO DARK CHOCOLATE BROWNIE)
Forgive the dark pictures… I took them with the iPhone which doesn’t take great night pics.
